Bio

Kirby Kloeppel will be starting her 4th season with the SJR Volleyball program, but this time she comes with the title of Assistant Coach.  Kloeppel has played a combined 3 seasons for the Vikings, two seasons with the Indoor program and two more with the Beach program, while the 2021-22 school year saw her wear both uniforms during that academic year.  During the spring of 2023, Kloeppel served as the team captain for the Beach team, which finished the season as the National Runner-Up at the Inaugural NJCAA Beach National Championships held in Taveres, Florida.  Along with that, Kloeppel and her partner, Macie Sinclair, were recognized as 2nd Team Pairs All-Americans.

While Kloeppel continues to earn her bachelor’s degree from SJR, she stands tall as the only Viking to ever earn the status of being a 3-time Academic All-American.

Prior to her time at SJR, Kloeppel grew up in nearby Interlachen where she played volleyball in high school.  She was a 4-time All-County volleyball player, team captain her senior season, and was honored with the title of Player of the Year twice by the Palatka Daily News.

Coach Kloeppel has spent her entire life in the Interlachen and Putnam County area, where she has been playing club volleyball since the age of 10.  She plans on continuing to pursue her degree while starting her coaching career with the program she calls home.  During her down time, Kloeppel enjoys spending time at the beach, playing volleyball with friends and hanging with her family.
