Congratulations to SJR State's Alyssa Vallad for being named the The Florida College System Activities Association (FCSAA) DII softball Pitcher of the Week (for games April 1-7)! 
 
Vallad was 1-0, 1.00 ERA in one appearance and tossed a complete game in the Vikings' 2-0 win vs. Florida State College at Jacksonville. Vallad scattered six hits over seven innings and walked none.
